The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local celebrations included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
